Pickleball has become the fastest growing racquet sport in the country, and many parks and clubs now share tennis courts with painted pickleball lines or have converted courts outright. Dedicated pickleball facilities, indoor and outdoor, rent courts by the hour and run open play sessions where players rotate in. Padel, played on an enclosed court with glass walls, is arriving in the Sun Belt and big cities; platform tennis (paddle) is a winter game on heated, elevated courts in the Northeast and Midwest; racquetball and squash live inside athletic clubs and YMCAs; badminton and table tennis have their own clubs in most metro areas. Equipment is cheap to rent or borrow for a first session at nearly all of them.

Wilmington is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Wilmington is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This is a great indoor pickleball location. There are a few differences between other public pickleball facilities. There is no one at the facility to schedule it take payment so ... Everything is done through the Court Reserve application. This also means that if you want to just show up and play with open play, you can't. There is no open play unless you bring the grip to play with. For tennis players used to having for people this world great. If you are visiting from out of town (alone) you would find more opportunities to play at Pickle & Tap or House of Pickleball (HOP). The 2 courts are very nice. There is a restroom and you can play music through a provided speaker. You enter using a door access code which works 10 minutes prior to your session and for the allotted time.

Very nice indoor facility for pickleball. Love that it's open 24 hours and easy to reserve courts. Please bring one here in Ogden π

Excellent lighting and great place for pickleball indoor with most amount of space on the back line and side line than any pickleball court in Wilmington

Love this place! The courts with nets separating, so no rogue balls. The high ceilings, natural light from the windows. The technology is fun to watch replays! I know you will love it too!

Interesting pickleball club model. Open 24 hours a day by setting up reservations for you and your partners to show up and play. Good tech to help your game. For me it's a little bit of a bummer cuz there's more of an interest in open play which they don't provide. You have to bring your own players like tennis. Excellent facility, and great lighting for an indoor court. You can play there 24 hours. That's pretty darn cool. I'm glad they're in Wilmington cuz it offers a niche. Place is near the airport.
